Grease Ducts
Beginning January 1; 2009 ASTM re-evaluated the methods for testing ductwrap on welded duct work. ASTM E 2336 no requires two layers of duct wrap on field welded/fabricated duct.
Allied Technologies represents Metal Fab; which manufacturers G-Value UL listed grease duct which requires no Wrap and has a Zero Clearance to combustible rating.
This Duct is approved by the State of Kentucky per IMC 2006, Allied Technologies can assist in State Approvals of these systems.
Allied recently completed the new KFC Yum Center which included 16 separate systems ten to 22 inch diameter 20 to 150 feet in length.
Other notable Locations utilizing Metal Fab G Series Grease duct include Churchill Downs; University of Louisville and Papa Johns Stadium.
